Judy shared the Indian traditional art of rangoli with me. Rangoli artwork is commonly seen at the annual India festival, Diwali. Rangoli is a hand-made artform which employs the medium of colorful sand, using white sand to design the foundational pattern, then using colored sand to fill desired areas. A ragnoli artwork will typically be presented on the front door of the house or temple. It represents the sending of blessings to family and friends.
